Marissa and Ben – Hood River Wedding – Crag Rats Hut
As I was enjoying the lovely clear sky this afternoon and was reminded of the absolutely gorgeous day that Marissa and Ben got married, I realized that I never posted photos from their wedding in Hood River this June. Â They were married on one of those unusually hot June days (I think the temperature got close to 100 degrees), but luckily the wedding took place at the Crag Rats Hut in Hood River, and the ground floor of the venue stayed nice and cool all day, plus the outdoor space was full of trees and provided them with some shade to help escape the heat. Â Â The ceremony took place outside with a perfect view of Mt. Hood in the background, and during the reception guests were able to enjoy the wonderful weather with some lawn games, or wander around the property and take in the views of all the orchards nearby. Â I really loved Marissa’s dress, and her lavender bouquet was just beautiful. Â When I saw their dessert was a bit jealous that I hadn’t thought of having a giant pie at my own wedding (and it was very tasty!) . I loved getting to work with this pair and their friends and family!
Sarah and Kevin – Hood River Wedding – Bella Vista Bed and Breakfast
Sarah and Kevin got married at Bella Vista Bed and Breakfast in Hood River, Oregon. This wedding was full of wonderful personal touches, the home made jam, the ring bearer (their dog!), the hand-made bouquets made by the family and friends the morning of the wedding, it was such a beautiful and unique day to get to be a part of. The pear orchards provided just enough shade during the ceremony, and made for some wonderful photo opportunities later on. The food, from Rip City Grill, was just wonderful, and the cupcakes (hand made by family members) were delicious!
Matt and Steph – Hood River Bed and Breakfast Wedding – Hood River Oregon
I was really lucky to get to be at Matt and Steph’s wedding this fourth of july weekend. The weather was perfect, we had a clear view of Mt. Hood during the ceremony, and the parasols at the venue were perfect to keep guests cool during the ceremony. Also, one of my favorite food carts catered the event, 808 grind, with delicious Hawaiian food. As the day turned into dusk, the light at Mt. Hood Bed and Breakfast was just gorgeous. I was also lucky to witness my first ever wedding talent show, which turned out to be impressive, and funny, and magical, and really touching, it was a great way for their friends and family to showcase their skills and be a part of this special day.
